Montreal base Make-Up Artist, Nathalie Audant, first began her love affair with the arts at the early age of 6 where music and dancing became her favourite form of self-expression. She would then take up the habit of performing wherever she could. Anywhere from a public function to an empty space by herself, it didn’t matter to Nathalie, she didn’t need an audience just as long as she had music and her imagination she felt animated.
In 1995 she then had the opportunity to attend Montreal’s Fine Arts Core Education School located at the heart of downtown Montreal, which allowed her to experience the urban visual arts scene which was developing in her milieu. Her curiosity for this new art led her to New York City where she would frequently visit her Godmother who then expose her to the eclectic metropolitan arts. Running around the Big Apple as a vibrant teenager, she discovered the unique and incomparable art scene that the great city had to offer.
In summer of 2004, Nathalie then started her career as an independent Make-Up Artist in Miami. Mostly gaining experience working with new up and coming local photographers, she got the chance to collaborate with agencies such as Next, Elite and Wilhelmina. Pushing herself though the Miami Beach fashion and design arena she then got the break she was looking for, an occasion to work at the side of MAC Make-Up Artist Ron Tittone for Miami Fashion week. In doing so she exposed her talent to some of Miami Beach’s leading fashion enthusiasts.
In 2005, Nathalie decided that is was time to head back home to her treasured Montreal. While venturing off in different solo projects she got the wonderful occasion to briefly work for Lancôme Paris as a beauty consultant administrator. Attaining more knowledge in the corporate beauty industry, Nathalie was ready to embark on her own expedition. Taking it to the next level she decided to launch the Nathalie. B. Studios concept.
